PhD Research Project 2013-2018

My doctoral research project, "Academic Viewpoints on Spirituality in Higher Education: An Exploratory Qualitative Study," conducted at the University of Tasmania, involved interviewing academics from the business school and teacher education. We explored the significance of spirituality in higher education and addressed some common misconceptions.

My research project, "Academic Viewpoints on Spirituality in Higher Education: An Exploratory Qualitative Study," conducted at the University of Tasmania, involved interviews with academics from the business school and teacher education between 2013 and 2017. We explored the significance of spirituality in education and addressed some common misconceptions.

Through these interviews, I discovered that some academics naturally integrate spiritual aspects into their teaching, while others suggest having an uncontested academic definition for its effective integration into higher education. Situated within the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) framework, this study unveiled intriguing challenges academics face when dealing with spirituality, adding an extra layer to our findings. Project Management for a novel trilogy

From 2015 to 2018, I served as the project manager for the novel "The Department of Truth," overseeing its evolution into a trilogy for an Australian author. Navigating online collaboration challenges, editing the manuscript, and guiding the self-publishing process were integral parts of this transformative journey.

Staying in constant communication with both the publisher and the author was key to ensuring a smooth journey from the project's planning stage to its successful completion in 2018. Alongside setting milestones and budgeting, I orchestrated impactful marketing strategies on platforms like Facebook and other social media channels. Engaging the audience through these channels played a crucial role in promoting the trilogy.

The project also included organizing a book launch tour in Tasmania, creating an immersive experience for readers and connecting directly with the local audience. Navigating the evolving nature of the trilogy continued during execution, involving not only online coordination but also proactive engagement in social media marketing.

Continuous monitoring of progress, addressing issues promptly, and fostering transparent communication were essential elements of my approach. The triumphant completion of the trilogy not only marked success but also affirmed the effectiveness of my project management in the dynamic realms of self-publishing, online collaboration, strategic social media marketing, and local book launch events.

Performing Arts- various projects

Since a young age, my fascination with the performing arts has been a driving force in my life. Even as a child, I eagerly showcased my singing talents for guests, and my involvement in acting projects at school laid the foundation for my passion. During my teenage years, I had the opportunity to participate in a music video for TV, providing me with valuable insights into the world of on-screen acting—although the roles were small, the experience was immensely educational.

My journey then led me to the stage, where I discovered a profound joy in live performances. This preference prompted me to explore various aspects of theatrical productions, eventually leading me to write, direct, and produce stage plays, particularly focusing on children and youth for diverse occasions.

Reflecting on my varied experiences, I once found myself featured in a newspaper due to my unbridled enthusiasm for performing. I vividly recall rushing straight from college to a TV station, eager to contribute my skills and energy to the world of television.

Additionally, during my youth, I collaborated with friends to create an audio cassette featuring Baha'i songs. As a part of a band, we worked together to produce a collection of heartfelt and inspiring melodies, showcasing not only my dedication to the performing arts but also my ability to collaborate creatively.

Expanding beyond the stage, I embraced the roles of a master of ceremonies, public speaker, and interpreter in multiple languages. Each venture has added a layer of versatility to my skill set, allowing me to navigate and excel in various aspects of communication and presentation.

This diverse and enriching journey in the performing arts has shaped my identity, offering a tapestry of experiences that I eagerly share with others.
